MoTweets is a Twitter client application for Windows Mobile devices which aims to take on the current top applications which include PockeTwit, Tiny Twitter, ceTwit, and Twikini. The app supports multiple Twitter accounts, photo uploads, tiny URLs, GPS-based location posting, and multiple skins in addition to the basic features you would expect in any Twitter app like the ability to tweet, re-tweet, follow/unfollow, favorite, and view replies and direct messages.
As one reviewer noted in their post, the two best things about moTweets is that it’s the only app they’ve found that lets you “smoothly scroll” through your timeline on a touchscreen phone and it lets you delete tweets. That last one is a feature not too many applications, both mobile and otherwise, tend to offer. And it’s especially useful on a mobile client where an accidental finger slip can result in a partial tweet getting posted before complete.
You can also configure audio notifications or set them to vibrate in moTweets.
The Twitter app is available as a free ad-supported version or if you would rather forgo the ads, you can purchase the app for $3.99 instead.
