A New Tech Podcast You Should Be Downloading

April 1st, 2008  |  Published in Podcasting, Tech

l33t tech news podcast In January, MG Siegler set up the Elite Tech News Reddit as an experiment with Reddit’s new "Create Your Own Reddit" feature to be sort of an "elite digg" type of site. The experiment paid off, and other bloggers including Steven Hodson, Frederic Lardinois, Louis Gray, Mark ‘Rizzn’ Hopkins, Jason Kaneshiro, and Tony Hung were invited to join in submitting sites to it. Only 2 months later and the site has over 1250 subscribers. Nice way to ramp up fast!

Taking this concept to the next level, the bloggers decided to launch a podcast featuring some of the top stories from their Reddit site. The first podcast featured Mashable’s Mark ‘Rizzin’ Hopkins as the moderator, MG Siegler from ParisLemon, Jason Kaneshiro from Webomatica,  and Frederic Lardinois of The Last Podcast. Louis Gray from LouisGray.com and Steven Hodson from Winextra will join future episodes.

The podcast is now available on a weekly basis and I highly recommend it.

Here’s how to subscribe:

In iTunes, copy and paste the feed URL into iTunes manually (Advanced -> Subscribe to Podcast). Or hold tight because it will be in the iTunes directory soon.

You can also download the MP3 file directly or add it directly to your Zune.
