Hulu is Coming!

Finally, at long last, the much-anticipated Hulu service is going public. Even though the service isn’t going live until tomorrow, it’s all over the net today, which just goes to show how much people are looking forward to it. Although I still don’t think that Hulu has a chance at being the “iTunes killer,” at least not without downloads, it still is a really nice collection of online video.
Hulu has even added Warner Bros., Lionsgate, the NBA, and the NHL to their collection of NBC/Universal and FOX TV shows, which includes shows from the Bravo, Fuel TV, FX, Sci Fi, Style, Sundance, and Oxygen channels. Hulu also offers selected movies. Plus I noticed AOTS from G4 - nice. There are also some “minisodes” available for select shows and some premium web content from Vuguru, WatchMojo and WineLibrary TV. (Check out this list for all of Hulu’s partners).
A Collections section contains a selection of shows that are of the same theme, like “Chris Farley SNL Moments,” “Holiday Episodes,” and “Pilots.”
