Flotzam - Social Network Mashup App

February 23rd, 2008  |  Published in Digg, Facebook, Mashups, Twitter, YouTube

flotzamFlotzam is a WPF mashup application that combines data from your Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Digg accounts and then displays them, on one page. You also have the ability to add RSS feeds to Flotzam, and they will display, too. The app is basically a visualization tool, which, although pretty, isn’t what most would find really useful. However, there is a version of Flotzam that lets you display it as a screensaver, so that may be its redeeming quality. Be warned though, Fllotzam is a bit of a resource hog. If you want to install Flotzam, you’ll need to visit the homepage using IE. If you want to just mess around with the code, you can download the open-sourced source code instead.
