Facebook Coming to T-Mobile Blackberries

Sarah Perez on October 24th, 2007

facebook I just saw this article which made me really appreciate being a T-Mobile customer. Research in Motion (RIM), makers of the popular Blackberry mobile devices, announced that they will introduce new software that will let Blackberry users automatically retrieve their Facebook messages on their Blackberry, just as easily and as quickly as other email is received. In addition, the software will let you wirelessly send and view Facebook photos, pokes, and wall posts. T-Mobile will be the first wireless carrier to get this new application.

  1. I certainly hope T-Mobile has the decency to allow net admins the power to block this software from being installed on company Blackberry’s. Coming soon….how to block this feature on your company Blackberrys…

  2. As promised, here is the link for network administrators to keep applications like this off your corporate Blackberrys.

PS - It is a great application for personal use!

  3. I installed this on my blackberry (personal blackberry) but I am less than thrilled with the interface so far. Though it’s more comprehensive than the mobile version of the site (the mobile web version of Facebook).

  4. Where did you get the download…I thought it wasn’t out yet?
