iHeard, Search Engine for Internet Radio

Sarah Perez on October 7th, 2007

iheard iHeard has launched a new search engine, specifically designed to help you find internet radio stations. The engine will locate not only internet-only stations, but also simulcasts offered by AM & FM terrestrial radio stations. A nice feature of iHeard is that your search results don’t take you away from the results page to the radio station’s website, but instead let you stream the the station right from the iHeard webpage using either Windows Media Player, Winamp, RealPlayer, or iTunes. You can browse for stations using the tabs above the search box which let you locate stations based on genre, language, country, or popularity.
