New Gmail?

Rumor has it a new version of Gmail is being tested. No details yet on what this new version will contain. A new version? I’m not sure that I want a new version. Gmail is just fine now being an easy, intuitive web-based email system. I tried to think what I need in my Gmail that I don’t currently have, and the only thing that came to mind was the ability to create and use distribution lists. I hope Google isn’t about to mess with a good thing.

  1. Looking at the alleged screenshot on the zdnet page shouldn’t we be a bit suspicious of this in view of the term ‘pig latin’ included? Humor perhaps?

  2. Can’t wait for this new Gmail to launch….it’s all over the blogsphere

  3. Gmail distro lists are called Groups. You can create them in Contacts. I just discovered this functionality the other day and it seems easy enough. Have a great day.

  4. Zac, OMG…
