Fring is a new mobile VoIP service that is now available for Windows Mobile 5 and Windows Mobile 6 smartphones. Like Skype for your cell, Fring allows you to talk and IM via your handset’s internet connection. Instead of using your costly mobile airtime minutes, Fring lets you use either a Wi-Fi connection or your GPRS, EDGE or 3G internet data plan to make calls, even international calls, without using your airtime minutes. Fring also lets you connect to Skype®, Google Talk™, MSN® Messenger, SIP, Twitter, and your regular phone contacts from one integrated contact list. That’s such a great service that it almost makes you want to ditch your Blackberry! However, if you can’t get off your Crackberry, then check out Webmessenger Mobile for Blackberry as an alternative.
