  • Microsoft paid A-list bloggers to become spokespeople for their "People Ready" campaign. Controversy ensues as people are shocked to discover that bloggers quotes in banner ads were paid endorsements! Wow. Do you guys think that Sarah Jessica Parker really dyes her hair with Garnier Nutrisse or Catherine Zeta-Jones really thinks T-Mobile is the best cellular provider, too?
  • Sigh. Just when I thought Yahoo was getting it together…now, rumor has it that Yahoo is in talks to buy MySpace in exchange for 25% of their stock. Why? Are they really so confused? Why wouldn’t they buy Facebook for the $2 billion they wanted? (MySpace is currently valued at $10 billion) Facebook is growing faster than MySpace and may one day be the favorite social network of choice.
