Dell’s Digg Clone
![]()
Yesterday, Dell launched a new site called IdeaStorm where customers can submit product ideas, feature suggestions, and any other changes they want to suggest to Dell. However, Dell at least gave credit where credit is due, announcing that the site is "a combination between a message board and Digg.com." I have to say, I love a company that actively seeks customer feedback, and Dell does seem to be trying to keep a more open dialog with the customers, not just with IdeamStorm, but also with StudioDell, where customers can upload videos of how they are using their Dells; and let’s not forget Direct2Dell, the company blog, where comments are still turned on. I guess we just have to wait to see how many of the suggestions the company takes to heart.
