GDrive For Google Employees Only?
Info about Grive, the long-rumored online storage platform supposedly under development at Google, has been leaked once again. Google Blogoscoped got ahold of the GDrive client, code-named "Platypus." According to the blog post, GDrive is currently for Google employees only. It allows them a way to share and store files internally at Google. So I’m curious: does this mean there is no GDrive under development for the public to use? Because I really want to use it, too! We’re halfway there already, now that Google Docs & Spreadsheets has been released. You can upload several files to the Docs & Spreadhsheets site, but I can’t find any documentation on how much storage space we’re allowed there. Anyone know?
