Free AOL?

AOL is considering giving its services away for free to anyone who already has a high-speed broadband connection. In other words, free AOL software - browser, tools, etc. Apparently, AOL is losing its subscriber base pretty fast these days, now that their customers are figuring out that AOL does not equal internet. If you can click on the blue "e" on your desktop and get to the same internet, why do you need AOL? In this new proposed plan, AOL would try to make their income through advertising. Oh, and dial-up customers would still pay for access. I’d say this is probably their best bet to stay alive.
