BlogBurst, a New Blog Syndication Service

Blogburst
BlogBurst is a brand-new syndication service that gets blogs placed on “top-tier” websites. If your blog is deemed a “high quality, topic-focused blog,” you will be invited to join their service. I suppose that means they’re not taking just anyone (no mommy bloggers perhaps?) According to BlogBurst, once accepted, a blogger will gain visibility, audience reach and traffic, while publishers weave the rich and diverse fabric of the blogosphere into their sites. In other words, major websites are going to syndicate your content…sites like washingtonpost.com, for example. Sounds intriguing. You know I signed up!

  1. I signed up and waiting to see if I’m worthy…

  2. This sounds really cool. Good luck on getting invited!

  3. Thanks for the link. I signed up our Plush Memories blog, just to see what was involved. Good luck with your request!

  4. Sounds great! I’m in. Thanks for the tip.

  5. I’ve signed up, but I doubt I’m worthy despite the fact I’ve had nearly 40,000 visitors this month! BA~~9

  6. I got accepted - but they require a US zip code. Awaiting a reply from Pluck (the site’s owners).

  7. They’ve replied. I should make one up. :P

  8. I got the answer today, but we weren’t accepted. Got a canned answer that they didn’t have a publisher that would be a good match at this time.

  9. Hi everyone,

I am the GM from Pluck in charge of the BlogBurst service. We are all happy to see your excitement growing around this new offering. For those of you outside the US, you can sign up, but with a couple of stipulations until we truly take this thing global: Your blog must be in English only and your blog should relate to topics that US publisher audiences would care about. If you fit this criteria, just use a 5 digit US-style postal code of 00000 if your zip code has letters and numbers. That will work until we get the postal code updated to support non-US formats.

Best of luck in the network!

  10. I got in an invite and a personal email from one of the founders. Heh, seems like they like me =D.
