Legal Torrents

Bittorrent_logo_2If you like to download content, but don’t want the MPAA knocking at your door, then these sites are for you! You can download legal, non-copyright-protected torrents are Prodigem and Public Domain Torrents. At Prodigem, the content includes videos, podcasts, news, and other miscellaneous content (like the How-To Girls Bikini Calculus video). At Public Domain Torrents, the name is self-explanatory. The site has many movies, that, because of their age, exist in the public domain. So, lots of black-and-white classics can be found here, and lots of campy B-movies as well. Happy downloading!

  2. Steven mentioned something to me yesterday about how the President of France made P2P legal there.

  3. MPAA and RIAA are horrible organizations. There is nothing illegal about bit torrent but they make the public think there is.

Sites like this one show what the good uses of bit torrent can be. We need to keep Bit Torrent alive and well. It is the only way normal people can afford to get their media out to the public without giving an arm and a leg for the bandwidth bill.

    Thanks for the site Sara!

  4. There is also another, perpahs more all-around place for legal torrents at http://www.datagalaxy.net
