Google_10All in one post for your convenience!

A new version of Google Earth is available. If you already have Google Earth, go to the Help menu and choose "Check For Updates Online." If you don’t have Google Earth yet, well, what are you waiting for?

Google launches "Flight Search." In the Google Search Box, type in two different cities, or airport codes, and Google will bring up two boxes for entering departing and returning flight dates. See an example here.

Google Web Accelerator returns. Version 0.2 does not fetch secure Web sites or URLs with query parameters in them. "Google Web Accelerator only prefetches links that should have no side effects," the company says, addressing the privacy concerns of the previous version of the app. Others were still concerned. As it turns out, their concerns were about a bug that has now been fixed. Whew. Not evil yet.

  2. Seems like they’ve already got enough people for WebAccelerator again. Got a copy?

  3. Google Web Accelerator is too creepy.

  4. I didn’t see a help menu. I wanted to upgrade mine.
