You are receiving this because you have been identified as being an important person to the BlogMad website, the blogging community, or to the team behind BlogMad. Only emails that have signed up on the website can receive this, aside from a few salutations to respected sites.

We are pretty sure that this email must be coming at a time when everyone has a myriad of questions to ask, a time to quench everyone’s thirst for more knowledge.

Firstly, we’d like to extend a very warm welcome and a hearty thank you to everyone who has taken the proverbial bull by the horns and run with it with regard to the BlogMad pre-launch referral signup campaign.

The response has been nothing short of phenomenal and although we’re pretty close on 1000 pre-launch signups, we have some news that should be music to everyone’s ears: we’ll be continuing the pre-launch signups for an extended period to allow people to use the information in this press release to sign up more referrals.

Q&A

In order to get formalities out of the way, a few people have sent us emails asking us questions, and we’d like to address those.

Since we announced on http://www.vault9.net/blog/ that our aim was to be able to maintain a 1:1 ratio, the number one question fired at us was:

Q. How do you plan to maintain a 1:1 ratio if you are already giving away thousands of credits prior to launch?

A. Simple - because we already have a network of websites that have thousands of visitors daily, we are going to allow those people to view your blog for a portion of a credit. There is a whole variety of other internet loving people who may or may not also be bloggers, thus exposing your blog to a diverse group of people.

On top of this extra exposure, we won’t be taking an entire credit away from you for this traffic, meaning it increases what you are getting out of your credits and allows you to get more bang for your ‘blogbuck’, effectively allowing you to get past a 1:1 ratio!

Q. Another site I frequent has a blog fighting game, but it’s unfair because newbie’s get "picked on" by more experienced bloggers.  Are you going to have the same kind of unfairness?

A. Without giving away too much at this stage, we have a plan that’s VERY fair which will solve such problems. We are not in this as a competition to the other sites as we would like to improve on everything.

Q. How do I sign up more referrals?

A. Use the screenshots provided to attract attention. It works!
Also, there are a few banners and buttons located at http://www.blogmad.net/banners which can also be used in conjunction with your referral code.

A simple, sleek and sexy interface…

The internet has become cluttered with sites that are slow to load, hard to navigate, difficult to understand, and awful to look at - so we have opted for an extremely sleek and sexy design for BlogMad using colors that are easy on the eyes and most importantly is the large, easy to navigate menu which is simple to use. Included in this document, you will find a few *limited* screen shots of the BlogMad site which you are free to use for promotional purposes.

Games…

We will have games where you can have fun when not surfing blogs, and win credits doing it. We have a host of different games planned for the launch, and would like to take this opportunity to inform you that we have a team of coders working on bringing you full entertainment value for your internet pleasure.

Lottery: We are going to have a lottery like no other - with a proper draw.

BlogFusion: BlogFusion is a rewards program that will allow you to promote BlogMad and its’ associated websites and in turn, be rewarded with points.  These points can then be redeemed for prizes such as additional credits, banner views, text links and others that we do not want to disclose just yet.

We have great prizes in store! The best thing about BlogFusion is that it’s not a case of if you win a prize; it’s when you win, as we have worked out a system that will allow everyone to win. Guaranteed.

Phantom Credits?

Yes. You will notice that when you log onto the BlogMad.net website sometime after this weekend, your account will have received an additional credit for every single person who signed up under a referral of yours!

This means that even though you may only have 1 or 2 referrals, the people you have referred, have hopefully in turn referred other people.  You score on everyone who has signed up on the level below you!

Why? This is just our way of saying thanks for all your efforts so far…
