IE View for Firefox
For those of you who read the last post and rolled your eyes, thinking "who uses IE anymore?!", this post is for you. Unfortunately, we ALL have to use IE sometimes for those pages that don’t render properly in Firefox. To make this transition a little less painful, there is a Firefox extension called IE View that will open a page into the IE browser with just one click. In addition, you have the option to select "always view this page in IE," for those pages you frequent that never render properly in Firefox. Hopefully, there will be a day when everything is coded to work in both browsers. Until then, IE View is a great tool to use as a workaround.

That’s one of the handiest Firefox plug-ins yet(unfortunately). Thanks for drawing my attention to it.
This is a great Firefox extension especially for those difficult sites where the web designer can not be bothered to redesign their site. There is an article on my blog regarding a hack for the same extension.
I’m a FF user and I didn’t know of this - so thanks! It will come in handy, indeed!
The BOTB challenge may surprise you - You have a nice site and it wouldn’t be unlikely for you to win! I just do it for fun, to - so the outcome won’t really matter. I learned of this new plugin and that was worthy enough hehe

This is awesome. Makes it easy to get to IE when needed. As much as we want to wish otherwise, there will still be plenty of sites that are best in IE. As long as companies trust their sites to half-wit “developers” that think FrontPage is the end all and be all of Internet design. Plus there’s the matter of Microsoft’s sites. Even if the rest of the net goes FireFox (or better yet, fully standards based) Microsoft will still make their sites look better and work better in IE.
I’ll have to check this out. Thanks for sharing.
When I first heard about that extension, well over a year ago, I knew I had to have it! Sadly, I’m forced to use it a few times a day since people can’t code.
Now this is a good tip Sarah, thanks for sharing!
