Anti-Phishing Filter in IE7

Sarah Perez on September 4th, 2005

Ie_3Microsoft is building "antiphishing" features into Windows Internet Explorer 7, the next version of its web browser. In the new browser, you will be interrupted and warned when you try to go to a site that is known to deceptively try to grab personal information, aka "phishing." If you go to a site not known as scam site, but whose behavior appears suspicious, you will still see a warning….or you can just use Firefox.

  1. Actually, you can get that filter now, for IE6, with the MSN search toolbar.
