My new iPod

I finally got an iPod. Can you believe how behind the times I was? It’s an iPod mini in pink. I LOVE it. Already, I wonder how I lived without it. I want to wear it everywhere. I walked into work Friday, still listening. I listened to it while driving (is that wrong?) Now that I have this wonderful invention, I’m coming around to not hating iTunes as much anymore. I never really hated them exactly, but I wasn’t fond of their copyright protection at all. However, with iTunes’ list of podcasts, I’m learning to love them again. Free podcasts! I didn’t know how much I would love this. I already have a list of favorites, but I’m curious to hear others’ recommendations…

Look for something called JHymn. It should help you with your concerns.
As for Podcasts, I like Adam Curry’s Daily Source Code as well as Dawn & Drew, and Digital Flotsom from Tampa resident PW Fenton.

Personally I prefer AudioLunchbox which has no such limitations (although not as large a selection either)

Oh. For the car - you should get an iTrip. It’ll play the iPod thru your stero - I’ve even used it on my clock radio! 
It’s by Griffin - Lewis got it for my for my birthday on Amazon. (Before I got it, I just plugged the ear buds into my ears while driving, and just tried to pay attention more!

I love my iPod, too! As for podcasts, I tend to go with the more geeky ones.
Engadget podcast (www.engadget.com), the Tablet PC podcast (www.jkontherun.com), Ron Moore’s Battlestar Galactica podcast (www.scifi.com/battlestar/downloads/podcast/).
I also like one music one at Mashuptown (www.mashuptown.com) that is all about mashups.
Isn’t podcasting great? I listened to the “Chasing Lance” podcast during the Tour this summer. I have to second the nomination for Daily Source Code by Adam Curry as well.
I’m still trying to do that thing where you get a free iPod online. I was beginning to think it was a scam until I saw an investigative report on G4TechTV’s “The Screensavers” show. It’s legit.
Now I only need 2 more referrals and I’ll get one. Wanna be referral #4?
