Picasa Image Organizer

picasaToday, as I was Googling stuff, I came across this item on the Google tools page: Picasa. I have to say it’s pretty cool. It’s a image organizer program that’s free from Google. It’s not PhotoShop, sure, but look at all it has: it automatically organizes your photos for you, changes color to black & white, lets you e-mail, print, or order photolab prints, create a slideshow with music, import from your camera, search your photos using keywords, removes red-eye, has 1-click enhance, has cropping capabilities, supports .jpeg, .tiff, .bmp, psd, and .gif, has movie support, has support for network drives , and creates scalable thumbnails. My favorite feature, though, is the nifty timeline, that lets you browse all of your photos by date. No too bad for a little freebie, eh?
