Western Digital 250 GB Hard Drive
Yes! I got a Western Digital 250 GB hard drive today! A bargain at Circuit City for only $149.99 (after rebates). Even though I could have done the whole fdisk, format, partition thing the hard way, the software included with this drive made all those steps unecessary. It was CAKE. The software copied my C: drive over to my new drive effortlessly and, when finished, there’s even a button to view the “installation manual,” which tells you, very specifically, how to swap the drives, change the jumpers, and access your BIOS (if need be). It’s even customized to your drives and refers to them by their model numbers. It was so easy, anyone could have done it. I feel like writing a thank-you letter to Western Digital for making this process such a simple and trouble-free event. I’m ecstatic right now! I can’t wait to fill this sucker up!
