Is this a violation of free speech? And what exactly are they afraid of? I think a little behind-the-scenes personal commentary would be good publicity! I don’t get it…

Free speech is not always protected internationally. Nice to be American, isn’t it?
They say that it’s because everything about the Olympics belongs to the IOC. That’s the basis for it. I think it’s silly too. I’d LOVE to read a blog written by an athlete.
Well I worked for the Olympics in 2002 and everything is private. Interviews can only go through the IOC. The president of it is French – go figure… lol
