I really need a DVR

Well, this settles it. There is just no way for me to watch 3 shows at once. It was bad enough being torn between must-see-tv and CBS on Thursdays, now this. And with our Bose system’s strange setup we have to tape shows in one room and watch tv in another. Why do I still own a VCR, you ask? Because our cable company just got DVRs. Like a week ago. I think I have to have one. By Thursday. I doubt this is possible. I wonder if they force you to get digital cable channels, too.

I’m not sure if American cable offers timeshifting (central and west coast channels), but if it does, you will literally never again have to choose between favourites. Sunday night, in particular, is a killer for me. Stupid, sexy NBC/HBO/Fox!
